How to Install an Idea Thousands of Miles Apart

I just got a question about my Svengali System ‘Installation’ Classes on the InterWeb, where I put the thing into your head rather than teaching it.

“How do you ‘install’, when you and I are thousands of miles apart?” Miles

The thing is that the live recorded class was conducted over the telephone and the INTENT was to install the concepts in the students minds.

Basically it boils down to timed repetition and INTENT!

Hypnotic Symbolism the Silver Bullet of Hypnosis?

I was asked a question on my Ask-Jon Teleseminar last night about my Hypnotic Symbolism™ method. So I thought I’d show you rather than go through a long winded explanation.

This video was shot at a 1 day Original Hypnosis Introduction. I’d spoken to Kate for about 2 minutes that morning but not about working with her. She had never been hypnotised before and there was no ’set up’ apart from a polite hello and her telling me what she wanted to do.

During the post hypnosis I compounded that she would feel ‘normal’ and suggested that it had been a very successful session.

It appears that in the middle I ‘woke’ her up which of course is wrong. She’s hypnotised the whole time until I ‘officially’ terminate the process. We tested her right away.

This technique has been used for loads of behaviour change and has been called the Silver Bullet approach. Using this, especially combined with SUD scale (Wolpe, 1969), I don’t have to even know what their presenting situation is, and they don’t have to know either.

This is the simplest of all the approaches I have developed.

Hypnosis without trance

I often do hypnosis without the sleep like state people call trance. Trance is only the acceptance of the suggestion to the subconscious mind to “Sleep.” So trance is a symptom of hypnosis, not the hypnosis itself.
