I hate all this rubbish about having to use language patterns to ‘set up’ ‘create loops’ befuddle or bemuse people when good old simple direct suggestion is ALL that is needed to create and make best use of a hypnotic communication.

  1. Just got your daily dose and saw this video. It brought back memories. A student of yours tought me this induction. I remember it as the Mantis induction. I did it quite sometimes. Its fast and visual for people watching.

That was great ! I have watched many hypnotists but none have the laid back style you have. I lean a lot from watching you. I learned hypnosis by watching the internet and then going out to the bars and practicing it . Some people say that bars are the hardest venue. But it is the only place I have ever performed hypnosis and I have hypnotized a lot of people even very drunk ones and even when I was feeling no pain. I found out that if you just know the fundamentals of hypnosis (like you just demonstrated) it is easy to hypnotize people if they are willing.

Yes, but hypnotising with no point is well…. pointless.

If you were a Surgeon would you pop down the boozer for a quick pint and a spleen removal?

More that I study your short videos harder it is for me to understand why are there so many theories and approaches to hypnosis (from various NLP and clinical experts) and so few good hypnotists. According to a massive numbers of various courses there should be a hypnostist in every village.
Why do you think this is the case. What is your experience, how many people is actualy capable of becoming a competent hypnotist?
